There are occasions when one or both litigants are unhappy with an order they have received. That is when the appellate process can be evoked. Our attorneys have successfully represented clients who are desirous of appealing a decision and those who are defending against an appeal. Appeals are a highly specialized area of matrimonial and family law practice and our attorneys possess the skills and experience to write persuasive briefs and zealously advocate at oral argument.

Mr. Fisher has served as Chair of the Appellate Practice Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association and has moderated programs on appellate practice. Mr. Fisher and Ms. Jakinovich have also authored an article on rules of appellate practice for the Nassau Lawyer, the publication of the Nassau County Bar Association.
